Ice Storm 2/2/2011

So we here have been hit with a wonderful ice storm.  Of all of us Gene and I are the only two without power. Unlike my brother, our house doesn't have a fireplace so we stuck it out last night but we just could take it anymore so the girls and I are at my parents house and David is planning on crashing on the couch at the fire department since he's working until sometime after midnight and has to be there by 7am tomorrow anyhow.  They will be okay with it do to the situation.  Hopefully we will get our power back soon.  I must say that I am very thankful to have wonderful parents and for David's wonderful parents who both offered there homes to us and are always there for us when we need them.  We decided on my parents house because we didn't have an offical school closing for tomorrow and their house is closer to the schools and to David's work. It is now midnight and we got an official school closing a few hours ago. You know it's bad when they close the night before, they usually wait till the last possible minute to close. Well I will have to take some pics tomorrow and post them on here for you all to see.  I pray that all my friends and family, where ever they are at, are all safe and warm tonight.
